It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynda Gale Brooks of Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Carter and Frankie Colston; her husband Billy Joe Brooks; and her daughter Kelli Lynn Brooks. She is survived by: her sons, William Brooks (Hollie) and Joel Edward Brooks; her siblings, Larry Carter (Linda Gail), Charles Carter (Nancy), Ricky Ownby (Vickie) and Joyce McCallie (Don); her grandsons, Joshua Ryan Brooks (Nikki), Jeremiah Garrett Brooks (Elizabeth), Michael Rocky Jablonowski (Jessica) and Timothy Dow Johnson, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Jacob Brooks (Taylor), Chloe Ariel Grogan (Alaska), Isaac Levi Brooks, Khylea Johnson, Emerson Brooks, Nora Beth Brooks and Scarlet Brooks.
