He was predeceased by: his parents, Dock C. Bearden and Irene Patterson Johnson; and his siblings, John, David, Daniel, Donald of Dailey, D. A, Edmond, Raymond, Lucille, Cora Bell, Lena Mae, Rosie Mae, Viola Bearden and Barbara Ann Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Nell Broom Bearden; his son Lonnie Dale; his daughter-in-law Donna Bearden; his daughter Tammy B. Cochran; his grandchildren, Mana S. Harris (Rickey) and Jake R. Silvers (Andrea); his great grandchildren, Brynleigh S. Harris, Tripp Harris, Eva D. Harris and Javyn Lon Silvers; and his siblings, Jackie Johnson (Pat) and Mary Bearden. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Animal Rescue League of Northwest Georgia, 1384 Self Lake Rd SE, Fairmount, GA 30139.
