He was predeceased by: his father Charles Edward; his brother Lyndon Sweatt; and his grandparents, Chess and Nelly Tye. He is survived by: his wife Daisy Sweatt; his children, Steven Sweatt (Meagan) and Ashley Sweatt (Mico); his siblings, Charles Sweatt of Portsmouth, Tony Sweatt of Dayton, Ohio, Joni Johnson of Harlan and Kathy Sweatt of Lexington, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Emory Sweatt, Kamryn Richey, Maddox Sweatt and Hendrix Sweatt.
