She was predeceased by: her parents, John Prout and Mary Martha Stanley Prout; her husband Byron Lowell Ross; and her sister Nancy Lewellen. She is survived by: her children, Teresa Edwards (Joe) and Byron Ross Jr.; her sisters, Debbie Dodd and Joyce Shaw; her grandchildren, Leighanna Edwards, Nicholas Edwards, Chyanne Ross, Staci Ross, Hope Guyton, Cory Ross and Michael Ross; her great grandchildren, Kyison Kohut, Oliver Kohut, Bentley, Antwan and Bridgett; and her close friend Donna Smith.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the East Maplewood Cemetery (200 College Dr, Anderson, IN 46012).
