He is survived by: his wife Janice Nix; his children, Joshua Nix, Hannah Nix and Ashley Nix Prater; his grandsons, Charlie Prater, Conner Prater, Harrison Dunn, Casen Prater and Maverick Prater; and his siblings, Larry Nix, Edwin Nix, Sarah Young, Victoria Burnett, Easter Guffey and Virginia Keadle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
