It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lester James Dockery (Calhoun, Georgia), born in Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on December 17, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Charlie Dockery; and his siblings, Wilburn Dockery, Inzy McArthur, Callie Dockery, Alene Lakin and Rachel Taylor.

He is survived by: his parent Gladys Postell Dockery; his wife Linda Hogan Dockery; his children, David Dockery and Travianne Wilford; and his sister Dora Coram of Chatsworth, Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
