He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Smith and Bradley Smith (Edward); and his brother Sammy Smith. He is survived by: his son Russell Smith; his daughter-in-law Bonnie Smith; his grandson Shepherd Smith; and his sister Linda Scott.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home (535 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Edward's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
