It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lars G. Pierson of Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on November 28, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lars G. Pierson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Lars Gustav Pierson, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Carol Acree Pierson; his wife Monica Hutchinson Pierson of Calhoun; and his children, Lars G. "Duke" Pierson, IV (Elizabeth) of Calhoun and Molly Pierson of Augusta.

Due to Covid and the need for an open-air venue, the memorial service for Lars G. Pierson III will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 6:00 p. m. on Hal Lamb Field at Phil Reeve Stadium.
