He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin E. Black and Pearl Edwards Black; and his siblings, Max L. Black and Majorie Davis Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Jean Davenport Black; his daughter Sayre Elizabeth Black; his niece Terry Black; and his nephews, Chris Black (Wendy), Scott Black and Matthew Davis (Lauri).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home (535 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home (535 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701).
