It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lanelle Bailey (Calhoun, Georgia), born in Woburn, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 19, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Edward and Rosetta Murray Sonier; her son Donald Eugene Bailey; and her brother Henry Allen Sonier of Souix City, Iowa. She is survived by: her children, James C. Bailey III of Liberty, SC, Sheryl Bailey Sellars Speeg of LaGrange, GA and Sandra Bailey Hill of Calhoun, GA; and her siblings, Allen Edward Sonier of Gordon, GA and Winnie Sonier Frix of Rome, GA. She is also survived by five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
