He was predeceased by: his parent James Harrell; his siblings, Ricky Harrell, Jean Strey and Pat Dixon; and his brothers-in-law, John Nave, Rudy Strey and James Dixon.
He is survived by: his parent Maybell Harrell; his wife Joy Shepherd Harrell; his children, Kenneth James Harrell of Bakersfield, CA, Mitch Harrell of Flintstone, GA and Jana Lee of Knoxville, TN; his stepchildren, Justin Howerton of Calhoun and Aimee Nicholas of Enfield, NH; his brother Gary Harrell of Lubbock, TX; his sister-in-law Jane Harrell of Lubbock, TX; his sisters, Gay Nave of Tulsa, OK and Phyllis Spruill of Plainview, TX; and his grandchildren, Daisy Lee, Alex Lee and Clarke Nicholas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
