She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ferdinand Mitchell and Mildred Etheldra Brown; her brother Lynwood; her sister-in-law Anne Mitchell; her sisters, Betty Walker and Lena Farmer; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Stanley, Jim Shepherd and Theodora Stanley.

She is survived by: her husband Gary; her children, Jennifer Stanley Clayton (Marion), Kelly Stanley Smith (Raymond Jr.) and Gary Wayne Stanley Jr. (Danielle); her sister Milly Sue Shepherd; her grandchildren, Angelea Clayton Brewer, Chelsea Clayton, Kaleigh Marie Ford, Amanda Brunner, James Brunner, Alexander Stanley, Bryson Thurman and Cadence Stanley; her great grandchildren, Paisley Brewer, Elijah Brewer and Ryder Ford; and her nieces and nephews, Cheryl Clerc, Bonnie Howard, David Shepherd, Don Stanley, James Stanley, Tim Walker, Stacey Walker Bryan and Andrea Mitchell.
