He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonso Martinenza and Philomena Petrone Martinenza. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Volpe Martinenza; his sons, Joe Martinenza and Jeff Martinenza; his sisters, Rose Maier, Mary Ann Belay and Rita Baty; and his grandchildren, Emma Martinenza, Hannah Martinenza and Jacob Cantwell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation by mail to 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300.
