Jonnie Marie was predeceased by: parent Gus Nunnally Barnette, Sr.; siblings, Edwin Barnette (Wilma), Lucy, Bettye, Swea Barnette, Elizabeth Dodd, Gus Barnette and Reverend Fite Barnette (Audrey); and nephews, Russell Barnette and Philip Barnette.

Jonnie Marie is survived by: parent Mable Fite Barnette; brother Billy Barnette (Nan); and sister-in-law Bernice Barnette. Jonnie Marie is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
