He is survived by: his mother Angelica Maria Almendares Matute; and his siblings, Yibel Zelaya, Raquel Zelaya, Milton Zelaya, Franklin Zelaya, Maicol Zelaya and Misael Zelaya. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
