John S. Chattam Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2020, at the age of 77, John S. Chattam of Calhoun, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Chattam and Carrie Ann Tripp Chattam; his parents-in-law, Byron Denmon and Daisy Crook; and his brothers-in-law, Terry Denmon and Cecil Burley.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Denmon Chattam; his children, Kowaski Harper (Jenny), Cheryl Canty (Kelby) and Monyette Thorpe (Kingsley); his siblings, Mary Belyeu (Thurston), Bobby Chattam (Geneva), Max Chattam (Amanda) and Thomas Chattam (Veronica); and his siblings-in-law, Faye Burley, Doris Denmon, Ray Denmon (Deborah), Gary Denmon and Leonard Harris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
