With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Gary Hunter of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on December 24, 2022 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Hunter and Latrella Roper Hunter; and his brother Dale Hunter. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Hunter; his daughter Heather Hunter White; his grandchildren, Tatum and Addison White; his nieces, Pam Dempsey and Susan Tuten; his nephew Bobby Hunter; his great-niece Caroline Dempsey; and his great-nephew Robert Hunter.
