He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Greeson and Mildred Ruth Parker Greeson; his wife Joanne Cox Hammond Greeson; and his sister Ann Greeson. He is survived by: his sister Sue Erwin (David); his nieces, Tara E. Coiner (Dan) and Rachel Erwin; his great-nephews, Vance Coiner and Vaughn Coiner; his great-niece Sophie Coiner; his close friend Kelly Hammond; and also, Gage and Hartley.
In addition to flowers donations in memory of Van may be made to the Sonoraville Baptist Church fund.
