She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bates and Pauline Rigsby Bates; her son Ted G. Dyer; and her brothers, Glynn and R. J. Bates.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Dyer; her son Jeff Dyer (Paula); her daughter-in-law Carla Dyer; her grandchildren, Jeremy Dyer (Sarah), Tess Dyer, Kyle Odom and Brett Dyer (Gabby Jones); her great grandchild Jace Godwin; and her sister Jean Lowery (Bill).
