James Starks Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2021, at the age of 49, James Starks of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Dalton, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl and Barbara Ann Morris Starks; and his brother Robert Heath. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen "Ghorley" Starks; his sons, David Starks of Crossville, TN, Andrew Starks of Calhoun and Christian Starks of Calhoun; his grandchildren, Travis Fortner and Athena Gowan; and his siblings, Phyllis Heath Hudgins of Rocky Face and Ben Earl Starks of Dalton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 6th between the hours of 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the funeral home The Starks family, along with the staff of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home remind anyone in attendance to keep in mind the current guidelines set forth by the CDC as it pertains to social gatherings including social distancing, gathering limits, and face masks.
