He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cannon and Barbara Pierce Cannon; and his brother Tracy Cannon. He is survived by: his daughters, Brittany Davis and Melissa Cannon Beasley; his siblings, Melissa Frain (Douglas), Michael Cannon, Stephen Cannon, Brian Cannon and Gregg Carnes; and his nieces, Hope Frain and Paige Frain-Rumsey.
