He was predeceased by: his wife Faye Petitt; his parents, Frank Petitt and Mary Carzell Black; and his sister Ruth Chambers. He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Petitt Hammonds of Calhoun, GA; and his grandchildren, Christina, Dennis James of Chattanooga, TN and Daniel Serritt of Calhoun, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
