With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James McDaniel of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Fairmount, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2024 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Frank McDaniel, Sr. and Bessie Wilson McDaniel; his daughter Joy Nicole McDaniel; his stepson Rodney Turner; and his siblings, Susie Mae Bennett, Mamie Jo Morris, Ada Winters, William Albert McDaniel, Dave Golden and Walter Golden.
He is survived by: his daughter Leretha Blalock (Tony); his stepchildren, Darcus Taylor (Reginald) and Kim Turner (Gloria); and his brother Charles Allen McDaniel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
