He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Judy Carver and Emory Watson; his goddaughter Megan Abernathy of Cartersville, GA; his nieces and nephews, David Carver (Jamica), Courtney Carver, Cody Carver, Stacy Henderson (Brian), Caleb Henderson, Julia Collett (Ryan), Cooper Collett, Sandy Jaco (Jason), Tanner Jaco, Jared Jaco, Tony Watson (Samantha), Cooper Watson and Kevin Watson; and his close friends, Todd Abernathy and Robert Abernathy.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of James may be made to the Sonora Masonic Lodge F&AM #221.
