He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Benjamin and Artie Whitfield Bearden; the mother of his children June Carden Bearden; and his sister Betty Bearden Garrett. He is survived by: his children, Benita Bearden of Brookhaven, Roger Bearden (Jennifer) and Reed Bearden (Missy); his siblings, Kay Rutledge, Rita McBrayer (Roy), Rev. Lamar Bearden (Runette), Rev. Ray Bearden and Jerry Bearden (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Corey Bearden, Codey Bearden, Keely Bearden, Kayla Clark, Kortni Cruce, Jamon Hales and Justin Slaughter. He is also survived by Eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Gordon County, 809 Oothcalooga Street, Calhoun, Georgia 30701 in Donald's memory.
