She was predeceased by: her parents, Robey Franklin and Cora Wilson Franklin; her son Randall Bell; her siblings, Arthur Franklin of Morganton, NC, Lewis Franklin of Morganton, NC, Dorothy McCall of Morganton, NC, Kitty Sue Cobb of Morganton, NC, Mary Lou Crump of Morganton, NC and Mattie Pearl Franklin of Morganton, NC; and her close friend Bill Ross.
She is survived by: her children, Teri Bell and David Bell (Kirsten Fox); and her siblings, Luther "Bud" Franklin of Morganton, NC and Betty Ross of Morganton, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Calhoun, where she was a long-time member, at 411 College Street, Calhoun, Georgia, 30701. Please note any donations "In Memory of Ida Bell.".
