It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Horace Dyer of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Dalton, Georgia, who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleave Dyer and Virgia Huggins Dyer; his daughter Stacey Taylor; and his siblings, Donald Dyer, Otis Dyer, Wesley Dyer, Arthur Huggins, Pearley Teasley, Barbara Dyer and Sandra Huggins.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Walker Dyer; his son David Scott; his daughter-in-law Donna Dyer of Calhoun, GA; his siblings, Leroy Huggins of Dalton, GA and Gwen Flood of Dalton, GA; and his sister-in-law Betty Dyer of Dalton, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
