With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Stabenow of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Gordon, Georgia, who passed away on June 16, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Blankenship and Jessie Junkins Blankenship; her children, Sherry Ray Curry and Danny Joe Ray; and her siblings, Pearl Scott, Mildred Hand, Ben Blankenship and Jimmy Blankenship.
She is survived by: her husband Waldemar George Stabenow; her sons, David Ray of Chatsworth, Donny (Loria Ray) and Charlie Ray of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and her siblings, Ruth Blankenship of Calhoun and Gene Blankenship of Adairsville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
