He is survived by: his close friend Roberta Welchel; his children, Mary Hunter (Michael), Misty McClure, Christy Stewart, Jennifer Rigney (Scotty), Beatrice Shelley (Shane), Jeremy Welchel, Chris Johnson (Lauren), Jason Johnson and Matthew Johnson; his siblings, Carrie Faye Turner, Regina Welchel (Brian Mattis), Larry Ray Welchel and Rodney Welchel (Carol); and his grandchildren, Andrew Miller, Dimitrie Miller, Brittany Long, Clay Stewart, Chase Stewart, Konner Johnson, Abel Johnson, Riley Johnson, Brandi, Lynn Napier, Danielle Napier, Raider Shelley, Annolivia Shelly and Isabella Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family asks that flowers be omitted and contributions be made in Harry's memory to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
