It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Greg Sanders of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Hartwell, Georgia, who passed away on March 1, 2021, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father George Verdell Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Kay Sexton Sanders; his mother Shirley Jo Black Sanders of Hartwell; his daughter Nikki Allen Hayes (Marvin) of Toccoa; his stepchildren, BJ Crossley (Crystal) of Lavonia and Star Crossley of Athens; his siblings, Donna Sanders of Hartwell, Dennis Sanders of Hartwell and Jeff Sanders of Elberton; and his grandchildren, Kinsley Allen, Ryker Allen, CJ Allen, Gauge Crossley, Nevaeh McClung, Alehia Crossley and Skylar Murray. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
