He is survived by: his wife Roberta Berkeley Smith; and his sons, Jerry Smith (Linda) of Calhoun, GA, David Smith (Cheryl) of Calhoun, GA, Douglas Smith of Albany, CA and Ted Smith of Flagstaff, AZ. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
