He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallie Pruett and Evelyn Megginson Pruett; his son Jeffrey Wayne Pruett; and his son-in-law Jeffrey Wayne Kurtti. He is survived by: his wife Martha Bailey Pruett; his children, Jerry Pruett (Carol) of Calhoun and Lisa Pruett Kurtti of Blairsville, GA; his siblings, Shelmerdene Folsom of Loxley, AL, Luverne Ratliff of Demopolis, AL and Eddie Pruett of Uniontown; and his grandchildren, Callie, Austin Norrell, Matthew Pruett, James and Rhea Kurtti.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a cancer foundation.
