He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Brinton Hite and Ethel Mayer Hite; his wife Catherine Brown Hite; and his brothers, Wilmer Hite, Philip Hite, Ellis Hite and Donald Hite.
He is survived by: his children, Rachel Hite, Nancy Heard (Larry), Doug Hite (Barbara), Mac Hite (Polly) and Alvan Hite (Kathy); his siblings, Nelda McCracken and Carlton Hite; and his girlfriend Lydia Falls. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Gerald may be made to the Calhoun First United Methodist Church or to the charity of your choice.
