It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Michael Wood (Calhoun, Georgia), born in Gordon, Georgia, who passed away on December 2, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, B. W. Wood and Pauline Greeson Wood; his wife Cheryl Denise Adcox Wood; and his brother-in-law Lamar Babb. He is survived by: his close friend Marsha Carpenter Leonard; his children, Jamie Wood Sullins (Jake) and Chad Wood; his stepchildren, Kasey Smith and Louie Pendley; his sisters, Vickie Wood Hughes (Don) and Linda Wood Babb; and his grandchildren, Hailey Sullins, Chase Wood and Grace Wood.
