He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hughey and Doris Wyolene Woodall Hughey; and his brother Steven Hughey. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Nelson; and his sister Jacqueline Williams (Daniel).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home (535 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fain Cemetery (104 Anabel Ln, Calhoun, GA 30701).
