She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Smith and Annie Mae Mobbs; and her stepfather Richard Russell Mobbs. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Jacky Waits; her son Jordan; her daughter-in-law Tiffany Waits; her daughter Leigh-Ann; her son-in-law Rev. Jamey Hunt; and her grandsons, Noah Hunt (Tiffany), Cooper Hunt (Lindsey), Tyler Waits and Jack Waits.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sonoraville Baptist Church (262 Old Fairmount Rd SE, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
