He was predeceased by: his father Henry Edwin Hodgkins; and his wife Elvie Webb Hodgkins. He is survived by: his children, Henry Hodgkins (Diane), Patricia Litchfield (Don), June Walter (Daryl) and Caroline Litchfield (Delwin); his brother Ronald Hodgkins; his grandchildren, Anthony Hodgkins, Tricia Dewar, Tammie Klingbeil, Christy Putnam, Chris Walter, Nathan Hodgkins, Shawn Litchfield, Kim Hensley, Laura Thomas, Kari Twombley and Shane Litchfield; and his great grandchildren, Johnathan Dewar, Matthew Dewar, Robbie Walter, Colby Putnam, Drew Hodgkins, Bradley Putnam, Hannah Klingbeil, Heather Klingbeil, Carter Reagan, Ava Hodgkins, Erica Pendley, Caleb Dewar, Colman Hodgkins, Nathaniel Klingbeil, Rebecca Thomas, Aurora Hensley, Frederick Twombley, Eliana Litchfield, Elisa Litchfield and Felicity Litchfield.
