She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Chastain and Maybelle Smith Chastain; her husband Joseph Phillip White; her son David White; her grandchildren, Jason White and Jody Patterson; and her siblings, W. F. Chastain and Alice Chastain Williams.
She is survived by: her children, Larry White (Dorothy) and Paula Patterson (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Jennifer White Phillips, Jessica White Boyangui (Amir) and Steve White (Angie); and her great grandchildren, Sydney, Abby, Josie and Dax.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to Bethesda Baptist Church Building Fund.
