With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel Welch of Calhoun, Georgia, born in Ellijay, Georgia, who passed away on June 10, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Davenport and Nettie Gibson Davenport; her husband Ernest "Buck" Welch; her son Ernie Welch; her siblings, JB Davenport, Kenneth Davenport, Wenfred Davenport, Lila Davis and Vinice Dixon; and her great grandchild Zach Gustinger.
She is survived by: her son Richard; her daughter-in-law Lisa Welch; her daughter Joyce Garrard Gibbs; her grandchildren, Sherry Gibbs Martin (Jeff) of Woodstock, GA, Donna Gibbs Gustinger (Kurt) of Miami Shores, FL, Cheryl Gibbs Domanic (Rich) of Boca Raton, FL, Christa Gibbs Kolb of Dunwoody, GA, Riki Welch of Calhoun, GA, Dusty Welch of Calhoun, GA and Trevor Welch of Calhoun, GA; and her great grandchildren, Cameron Garrison, Christopher Garrison, Mason Dockery, Mara Kolb, Sydney Gustinger, Ryley Gustinger, Sophie Welch and Michah Porch. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requested donations to at National Suicide Prevention Foundation.
