She was predeceased by: her parent J. B. Bishop; her husband Grady Burns; her son Terry Burns; her grandson Christopher Bright; and her siblings, R. L. Bishop, Duke Bishop and Nadine Griffin.
She is survived by: her parent Lucile Barton Bishop; her sons, David (Teresa Bright) of Calhoun, GA, Travis (Kathy Burns) of Calhoun, GA, Alan Burns of Calhoun, GA and Ricky (Sonya Burns); her brothers, Bud Bishop of Florida and Gene Bishop of Dalton, GA; her siblings-in-law, Brenda Chance, Wendell Chance of Calhoun, GA and Gene Griffin of Barney, GA; and her daughter-in-law Terri Burns of Cohutta, GA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
