He is survived by: his son Lee Beasley (Terry Hufstetler) of Dallas, GA; his siblings, Sarah Armstrong of Gant, AL, Gail Godwin and Robert Hooks of Evergreen, AL; and his pet Molly. He is also survived by six grandchildren; his beagle.
