She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Garrett and Mary Garrett; and her brothers, Thomas Garrett, Paul Garrett and Frank Garrett.
She is survived by: her spouse Tom Roye Jr.; her son Larry Roye; her daughter-in-law Gwen Roye; her grandchildren, Amaris Roye and Joshua Roye; and her sister-in-law Maureen Grizzle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
