It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Leon Cooley of Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on October 24, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald Leon Cooley to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Cooley and Polly Baker Cooley. He is survived by: his sons, Chad Cooley of Vermont and Charles "Chip" Cooley of Gallatin; his stepsiblings, Brenda Boswell (Edward) of Calhoun and Pat Autry (Dan) of Calhoun; his grandchildren, Morgan and Jay Cooley; and his great grandchild Caius Carter.

Due to Covid-19 the Celebration will be held outside and the church is asking everyone to wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers Don would have enjoyed if you donated in his name to the local charities that he was involved in, Five Springs UMC Food Pantry, The Dalton Greator Works, or your local Lion's Club.
