She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Norris and Alice Stanley Norris; her husband Wallace L. Burton; her son Rick Burton; and her siblings, Herman Norris and Pearl King.

She is survived by: her sons, Mickey Burton (Jane) and David Burton (Cindy); her daughter-in-law Buffy Burton; her grandchildren, Leslie McIntosh (Drew), Christopher Burton (Emily), Zack Burton (Angela), Thad Burton (Rachel) and Anna Burton; her great grandchildren, Warren, Abi, Andy, Ivy and Layla; and her sister Molly Harmon.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Dixie may be made to the Gem Theatre at 114 North Wall Street, Calhoun, GA 30701.
