She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Blalock and Alma Blalock; her husband Rayford Kirby; her son Ray Kirby (Helen); her siblings, Edward Blalock, Jimmy Blalock, Myrtle Wood, Eloise Caylor and Louise Chitwood; and her grandson Casey Tate.
She is survived by: her daughters, Joyce Blackstock, Trisha Frix and Sandy Tate (Randy); her siblings, CJ Blalock, Boyd Blalock, Harold Blalock, Richard Blalock, Tommy Blalock, Max Blalock, Glenn Blalock, Donald Blalock and Kay Brown; her grandchildren, Jamey Kirby (Melissa), Jennifer Kirby, Shane Tinch (Wendy), Amanda Tinch, Matthew Blackstock (Terri), Amy Wright (Brett), Corey Tate (Amy) and Camron Roberts (Nathan); and her great grandchildren, Carter Blackstock, Maddox Rimmer, Spencer Ford (Esther), Emily Roberts, Easton Tate, Mia Tate, Caroline Tate, Keagan Wright, Lynlee Wright, Paris Kirby, Kinzley Kirby and Raylen Kirby.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the South Calhoun Baptist Church (500 Pine St, Calhoun, GA 30701). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
