She is survived by: her mother Doris Lackey; her children, David Eric Patterson (Julia) of The Villages, FL and Angela Brown (Dale) of Colfax, NC; her stepchildren, Kris Hogshead Parrish of Savannah, GA and Thomas "Ted" Hogshead (Stephanie) of Dalton, GA.; her grandchildren, Zachary Bryce Brown and Amelia Grace Brown; and her stepgranddaughters, Caroline Hogshead and Kathryn Parrish.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial donations in her name to the Harris Arts Center or The Family Resource Center of Gordon County.
