Deacon Lawrence James Garigan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2022, at the age of 78, Deacon Lawrence James Garigan of Calhoun, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Garigan and Lillie Mae "Shag" Baxter Garigan; his son Captain Michael D'Angelo Garigan; his stepfather John Henry Johnson; his grandparents, Jim, Ruby and Baxter; his great-grandparent Andrew Baxter; and his parents-in-law, George and Isabell Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Simpson Garigan; his children, Katora Printup (Jeremy) and Lawrence "Bing" Garigan (Mary Jane); his grandchildren, Tiffany Garigan, Keshia Burns (David), Jermeriah Printup and Jabria Printup; his sisters, Veronica "Ronnie" Chattam (Thomas), Sharon Burge and Vickey Dumas (Ralph); and his siblings-in-law, Yvonne "Nanny" Harris and Matthew "Bubba" Simpson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
