He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Eleene "Tootsi" Metcalf and Big Boy; his brother William "Andy" Rich Jr.; and his close friend Crystal Pittman. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Chaysten, Collin, Annalynn Edwards, Hayden and Rylie Prieto; his wife Carrie Cornwell Rich; his siblings, Joann Walker, Joyce Waters, Julia Nichols, Edith Womack, Pam Rich and Michael Rich; and his daughters, Kimberly and Christy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thomas Funeral Home (535 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
