He was predeceased by: his parents, Vester Coggins and Myrtle Coggins; his great grandchild Lacey Edwards; his siblings, Elaine Coggins and Ronnie Coggins; and his brothers-in-law, Dorsey Long and Bobby Carney.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Long Coggins; his daughters, Lisa Muse, Jennifer Cooper (Jeff), Melissa Hefner (Chad) and Julie Burnett; his siblings-in-law, Elsie Carney, Martha Rollins, Jane Harrison, Brenda Byars and David Long; and his sons, Rev. Josh Cowart and Rev. Eddie Brannon. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
