He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Vince Middleton and Mamie Simmons Middleton; and his sister-in-law Shirley Caldwell. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Caldwell Middleton; his children, Alex Middleton, Angela Burnett and Katrina Nealey; his brothers, Harvey Middleton, Bobbie Middleton and Ned "N. F."; his sister-in-law Doris Hines; his grandchildren, Jasmine Middleton, Robin Middleton of Alex Middleton, JR, Cera Fegan, Michael Burnett and Westley Burnett; and his great grandchild Malachi Fegan.
